the MOVE
TO TRASH deletion mode.
Mails can still be marked as DELETED through all the things you
indicated (In my
case was a filter), but you can't UNDELETE them through IMP (SINCE THERE IS NO
BUTTON FOR THIS).
To make things worse if you DELETE items in this mode, the selected items are
move to the trash folder but the MARKED AS DELETED items are eliminated form
the inbox (EVEN IF YOU DONT MARK THEM).
The bug in fact is that you guys removed the UNDELETE button from de
UI when you
select the MOVE TO TRASH deletion option, and there can still be mails
marked as
deleted that you can't undelete.

or IMAP that do this no matter what we do, you can mix different mail
clients - there's no way to solve this simply within IMP. Also, you
should be able to use the Mark As menu to undelete it.

is eliminated from the IMP Menu, this is fine since to undelete an
item you should move it out of your deleted items folder.
The only problem is that I set up a filter where SPAM items are marked
as deleted, but not moved to the deleted items forlder, this is cool
since spam messages are visualy marked... the problem, I CANT UNDELETE
this messages since there is no button for it.
So... ether you can't set up this filter in MOVE TO TRASH mode or you
should be able to undelete the messages even if you are in this mode.
Hope this helps.
