Kronolith H3 (2.0.6)
and it did not work.
My environment uses Brazilian Portuguese. The problem is: The attached
ics is parsed and showed with wrong charset (see attachment).
I thought that applying this patch could solve my problem, but it did not.
Thanks,
Flavio Santino

There actually exists a function now for that purpose in PHP, you
don't even need to use the translation table anymore.
The decoding should be done *after* the current patterns, to convert
all entities being left over. You may be able to remove some patterns
though that are already covered by html_entity_decode().

Note: initial tests show this is working great.
In the mean time, this gives a much more readable output.
I'd be ready to use PHP's translation table, but I'd need an overview
on _where_ you would use this. Within html2text.php or within
Filter.php? Would you replace the current patterns by this or just
apply the translation before using those patterns?
Thanks.
