At least there is not much we can do if that isn't even reproduceable 
reliably.

Konqueror with application/pdf attachment: no

Mozilla with (part of) a .mov movie (as application/octet-stream): no

Konqueror with same pdf, gzipped (application/x-gzip): no

Konqueror with same gzipped pdf, as image/png: no

Mozilla with (part of) another image/png, exactly same size as 
problematic png: no

When sending a mail with a large attachment (more than about half the 
maximum, which is 2MB), IMP sends the mail twice. Once correctly and 
once with the attachment of size 0. With smaller attachments, it sends 
it only once, correctly.



Using Debian/sid package with exim4.
