Ah. thanks for the hint, Jan. I originally followed the setup 
instructions on http://www.kolab.org/webclient.html to make my 
installation work.



I've just verified that I didn't had set up a data-tree system. I've 
switched to MySQL database. Now I can create events etc..

It's not possible to create a new event when using a Kolab server as 
backend. Only a month view showing a timeframe in 1999 appears.



(Adding a task or a note also doesn't work.)
