As long as I can't influence the order in which the categories are presented in Trean they should be alphabetically sorted. I just added a subcategory "CM" and it got inserted as the first entry in its category - in front of "Books" and others. This is especially annoying as all the rest is / was alphabetically sorted. And I have a few hundred categories.
