We'll address the whole UI in Horde 4.

I don't think it would be so horrible - it'd just affect the loading time of the sidebar menu - but it's not something I personally have an interest in doing. I'm going to leave this stalled and let someone submit a patch for it if they like.

This sounds like far too much overhead. Anyone who thinks that this might be a worthwhile feature, feel free to re-open it.

it would nice if each user could order the items in the side bar menu. I have some users with really lots of mail folders, and when they expand those mail folders, items as calendar get really far down the menu.
