hopefully the tags will be synced like categories over activesync to smartphones? Yes. Just like they currently do in kronolith.

Why will the field categorie be removed in the future? V3.1 Categories, across all horde applications, are being replaced by the tagging system. This has already happened in Kronolith, for example.

Changes have been made in Git for this ticket: ~~Bug: 9841~~ Fix importing objects with categories. I exported a contact with a value in the field categories. e.g. "Privat" If I reimport this vcf file I get the categories value "P"

is it possible to add some contact information fields. I would need fields like: email1 email2 email work phone work; phone work cell; phone home; phone home cell centenery,... Is there possibility to add fields easily and sync?
