Changes have been made in Git for this ticket: ~~Bug #9714~~: Sigh - more DOM encoding issues Instead of maintaining a list of excluded charsets (it may very well include all ISO-8859-* charsets for all I know), have the first step be a brute force attempt at UTF-8. sometimes, characters with accent do no appear when viewing messages. see attached screenshot.
