No... pam_auth means pam_auth. Again, an OPTIONAL dependency so it shouldn't be a problem if you don't have it installed. Duplicate of ~~Bug #6860~~.

on pecl.php.net there is no pecl extension named pam_auth. i think you mean the pam pecl extension that is then listet in phpinfo() as pam_auth. can you please change that dependency so that it can be found during pear install Horde_auth as an installed extension?
