Does anyone actually use the SQLXML serialization format? I'd be inclined to just remove it, removing the dependency...

It's an optional dependency.

i have seen that you removed the pear.php.net/DB dependencie from al lot of packges, but Horde_Serialize still has that dependency. can you remove also that one so that i can remove pear.php.net/DB?
