can only see this happen theoretically, if you messed with
config/nls.php.

Context : my local/time is french and my navigator is Firefox.....
Reminder : [i18n] [horde] [Horde 4-Git]i18n mo files's bad encoding ?
You answered me : "I can't reproduce this, but I can see how this
could happen theoretically. File a bug ticket."
However I added in the file imp.po the entry :
#: templates/dimp/index.inc:64
msgid "_Get Mail"
msgstr "_Récupérer le courrier"
Then I run :
horde/bin/translation make --locale=fr --module=imp --no-compendium
Then in the interface horde I click on "Courrier" and I can see
""écupérer le courrier(R)" what that is not what should be ...

I woud like for instance to translate "_Get Mail" as " _Récupérer le
courrier " and having the acceskey "R".
The issue is that horde menu show "écupérer le courrier(R). Here is a
screen copy :
