mail_domain is set and the domain is being added to incomplete
from-addresses which are bing sent but imp is not the only client we
are using. There are clients that do not add a domain part.

You need to set the maildomain configuration or the mail_domain preference.

Hi there,

in messages which recipient does not contain an '@domain.tld' but only
the part before the '@' the recipient gets displayed with some strange
characters. Example: In a mail to the user 'justatest' the recipient
gets displayed as 'justatest@o02'. This is
rare as normally one would use the full address but when mailing to
colleagues for instance it is not uncommon to leave the last part of
the address out.
