Not true. MariƤ Himmelfahrt a few days later, both from the Germany 
holidays driver, works fine. Please report at PEAR.

There is no screenshot attached. All encoding problems I've seen so 
far, have been bugs in Date_Holidays. Please check first if other 
events with umlauts from the same holiday driver work correctly.

there is something wrong with the encoding of the holidays when they 
contain umlauts, have a look at the screenshot
