If you provided a patch for IMP-git I'd definitely look at it. The
method name is pretty unclear - maybe taking an optional array of
mailboxes would be better too? - and we'd ask you to review the Horde
coding standards
(http://horde.org/horde/docs/?f=CODING_STANDARDS.html) and to consider
if you'd be willing to assign copyright to the Horde Project.

Ok. But I think it's really usefull, there isn't another way to guess
how many unread messages you have on the INBOX (most important Folder
since all non filtered messages are kept here).

Developing systray agents without this kind of functions is nearly impossible.

Thanks for your attention

Not very useful since it only returns that information for the inbox.
Beside that, new features go to the development version first, and the
IMAP code has been completely rewritten there, so that we can't apply
your patch anyway.

But we'll keep the patch here for the record.

Add summary function to IMP api.  This makes accesible the
read/unread/newmsg via XML-RPC, so a desktop agent can notice about
new messages.
