This is not Horde Groupware 1.2.2. You are running a completely 
outdated IMP version.

I can't reproduce this.
I've replicated it, and captured screen shots along the way 
(attached).  Hope this helps.  It behaves very consistently on our end.

Several persons in the office have had problems with attachments.   
(Attaching a file to an email, but when it is received - the 
attachment is not there.)  The pattern seems to be that if spell-check 
is on (options-mail-message composition, "check spelling before 
sending a message"), the attachment is dropped.  When spell-check is 
turned off, the attachment works as expected.  Workaround:  After 
identifying your attachment, click on "update" - then it stays attached.
