This may have been fixed by recent commits to Horde_Date - can the
original poster confirm this after updating the Horde_Date framework
package?

for the sake of completeness, regarding the DateTime cloning - looks
like it's a known issue that they cannot be serialized / unserialized.

It fixed the error I was having regarding the DateTime object not
being completely initialized (or however it was worded).

Still having problems, but that looks like it is due to horrible
performance of DateTime vs Horde_Date

For what it's worth, that change did not seem to fix things for me.
Did it for you?

Can you see if the following commit fixes this for you?

(I am assuming you are on PHP5 since you are running HEAD)
