I've seen also - it is related to the changes yesterday. I thought I would be able to track it down before someone opened a ticket :)

I'm seeing a lot of inconsistency and badly "sticky" behavior with the viewport selection since yesterday. Seemingly at random, if I leave it alone for long enough, when I go back to DIMP and click on a different message, the old message will stay highlighted like it's selected. However group actions don't affect the faux-selected message. Deleting multiple messages at once or using keyboard up/down + shift to select multiple messages seems to cause this a lot also. I can reproduce this quite often, but I haven't figured out a specific pattern yet. If you don't see it, I can try to nail it down further.
