The "Alerts log" prevents/breaks the horizontal scrolling.
This is a limitation to having the alerts log displayed at the bottom
of the screen.  Since it needs to be placed above everything else, the
div containing the 'Alerts Log' text needs a sufficiently high z-index
(or this might also be due to the fixed position of the alertslog
div).  Therefore, you won't be able to click on items underneath the
div (i.e. a horizontal scrollbar).  This indicates we need to revamp
our display/positioning of the alerts log box.  Suggestions?

The alerts box doesn't work in IE 6 either.

The "Alerts log" prevents/breaks the horizontal scrolling.

Tested with FF 2.0.0.16

Howto reproduce:

1.

click on the Filters tab -> display the sieve script (with long lines)
-> try to scroll

2.

click on the Tasks tab -> narrow the window until the horizontal
scroll bar appears -> try to scroll
