Using  Horde 3.1.3,  Imp 4.1.3, and Safari 3.0.4 under MacOS 10.5.4, the user chooses, in Imp’s mailbox.php form, the “Select” drop-down’s “All” option. All entries seem to be selected (checked, and on a yellow background), but really are not: When “Delete” is clicked, the check-marks vanish, the background colour reverts to lilac, no message is deleted, and a popup says: “You must select at least one message first.”

In contrast, if the user clicks on the “Select All/None” checkbox (on top of the message overview), all entries are really selected: They look the same as above, but when “Delete” is clicked, they are actually deleted.

Using Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.15 under Windows XP SP 2, both the “Select” drop-down’s “All” option and the “Select All/None” checkbox work equally well.
