Xinha has been removed from IMP.

I have just removed Xinha support from IMP/DIMP in HEAD.  I don't have
the time/inclination to continue to support two jseditors in IMP,
especially when one has proven to be more stable and easy-to-use than
the other.  So i'm not sure if this is worth tracking down anymore
(especially since Xinha doesn't provide uncompressed sources, another
reason why it is difficult to support).

I don't see an error when replying to those messages.

Ticket #7387 has an example message attached that triggers this.
I've attached a strip down version of email attached in ticket #7387

If I remove the xml tag, the issue seems to be solved using the xinha editor.

FCKeditor doesn't seem to be affected by the xml tag

When replying to certain HTML message, I get the following error from Xinha:

Fehler: str has no properties

Quelldatei: http://neo.wg.de/headhorde/services/editor/xinha/XinhaCore.js

Zeile: 2943

str is null at this point, but I couldn't track it down, because Xinha
doesn't offer an uncompressed version of the last release anywhere on
their site.
