detailed proposal for how this will happen. Assuming this moves 
forward this ticket will likely be abandoned in favor of specific 
tickets for porting Thomas features to Jonah, along with the other 
tasks involved.

We should merge Thomas' functionality into Jonah, or cleanly split 
Jonah into feed reading, feed authoring, and feed aggregating; there 
isn't a good reason to have two of these applications.
