Try to use Firebug/Live HTTP Headers/Tamper Data or something like
tcpdump/Wireshark to see what's actually going over the wire.

This ticket seems to have gotten bloated with a number of issues, can
you please verify exactly which issue it is that you are still seeing?
If i enter Chinese string ,then i  always got "Saving ..." without
further response.

Hello mike:

I have made horde-cvs & ansel-cvs up2date,but the problem still there.

No related error message were found ,even turn logging to DEBUG mode.

This is a symptom of not having an up-to-date version of the Perms
package in framework. Please make sure that the entire framework is
updated from HEAD and that the packages are installed in your path
properly.

I'm going to close this ticket, since I"m almost positive this is
fixed....if it re-occurs please re-open the ticket.

With the recent changes to the storage backend. Can you check to see
if this is still an issue after updating?

(You'll need to update both Ansel and framework from CVS since Ansel
now requires the sql_hierarchical share driver.  You'll also need to
run the appropriate upgrade scripts in scripts/upgrades)

Thanks!
Sorry michael,i wish i could give you any test report right
now.Because i just recreate the horde database.while i wanna create a
new gallery,it's fail and i  got this error message: The gallery
"travel" couldn't be created: The gallery "travel" could not be
created: Permission names must be non-empty

Is this another bug for ansel ? if so,i will create new one on it.

P.S All horde framework and ansel were up to date from cvs and sql upgraded.

I'm in the process of changing Ansel's storage engine. Once that's
finished, I'll look at this (if it still needs fixing with the new
changes)
