Alternatively, instead of two combo box (4 combinations of which 1
does not do what it suggest), we could add a radio button with 3
combinations:
1) link attachment
2) normal attachment without attachment saving
3) normal attachment with attachment saving

This would be more correct and do what a user is expecting.
Patch?

IMP is not meant to be heavy on dynamic updates via javascript.  We
only use it in places where it is absolutely necessary for purposes of
easier UI.

No.   Only options that are never available to be changed by the user
should be hidden.
Why not? It would be nice to "dinamically" hidden that option only if
the first is enabled, as appear in other parts of the system.

For example, in the mail composing windows, every new attachment is
added, another empty line for another attachment is "dinamically" added.

Done in HEAD and 4.1.5.
Ok, works fine now.

However, would be nice, if possible, to have it hidden even when IMP
is not configured to send all attachments as link, but when the user
select "Link Attachments? Yes".

So, the menu should initially be (note that "Link Attachments?" is the
first choice):

Link Attachments? No

Save Attachments with message in sent-mail folder? No

If then a user select Yes to "Link Attachments?" the second choice
should disappear, showing only:

Link Attachments? Yes

When composing a new message (having configured IMP to send all
attachments as link), 'Save Attachments with message in sent-mail
folder' does nothing: yes or no it's the same.

This option should only be showed when not using attachments as link.
