Alternatively, instead of two combo box (4 combinations of which 1 does not do what it suggest), we could add a radio button with 3 combinations: 1) link attachment 2) normal attachment without attachment saving 3) normal attachment with attachment saving This would be more correct and do what a user is expecting. Patch?

It would be nice to "dinamically" hidden that option only if the first is enabled, as appear in other parts of the system. For example, in the mail composing windows, every new attachment is added, another empty line for another attachment is "dinamically" added. IMP is not meant to be heavy on dynamic updates via javascript. We only use it in places where it is absolutely necessary for purposes of easier UI.

When composing a new message (having configured IMP to send all attachments as link), 'Save Attachments with message in sent-mail folder' does nothing: yes or no it's the same. This option should only be showed when not using attachments as link.
