Now that we have a config variable for the wiki syntax, I'm not sure why this is still open.

It would of course be important to provide translators between employed markup language and WikiCreole. For example, translating headers using + markers with headers using = markers.

Good idea, though we should allow the admin to select the wiki rules. Since Text_Wiki supports different rules, it gives us a lot of flexibilty at almost no cost.

I think it'd be a good thing to standardize on WikiCreole (http://www.wikicreole.org/) to share markup with as many other wikis as possible. Also Text_Wiki already supports it, which is a bonus. Thoughts?
