I came here for help not insults.
Then ask in the correct place. This is not a support forum.
No it is bugs system. Were programmers and support people like myself
go to get quick direction to a solution to programing and
configuration problems. You still have not given me an answer that
will lead to an answer to a problem that may be in the programing. Nor
have you given me a clear directions as to were to look. I have
rummaged through the bugs and have found more data on the problem. And
there IS one. If you don't know anything about the situation say so.
Instead of showing your low caliber of support and interpersonal
relationship skills that has wasted my time and of others searching
for a solution to the language preference problem.

Support, good communication skills and common courtesy is a core of
OpenSource. Support is the main key to keeping that software going.

One message back saying something like.

I have transferred your request to Horde Base or Horde Framework
Packages. You will find other entries similar to your problem and my
find a solution to your problem there.

One sentence and a search by a person familiar with the Horde system.
Which I am not and don't have the time to learn. You may have also
added a sentence explaining what Horde server is and why it was the
wrong place to ask the question.

I support 3 mail clients, Horde only one of them, several hosting
clients, Mail clients,  and the developing and supporting my own web
application. I don't have time to teach you about supporting clients
to a single and minor web application. Yet I have taken time to do so.

And what IS the right area for language in your long list of modules
with no explination for a juser on what each part is. There were three
or so options for horde and servers was the least wrong in that group.
A positive sugestion of what group it belongs will be of greater value
to me and other users than what you gave. Simply a negative reponce.
If you are admin you could simply transer the request to the right
module.

Your responce dose not give me any more idea as to were the problem is
and how I may find a solution to it. Things are set the way they were
stated in the help system.  So I would assume the user setting is
correct. What is the 'backend? Were do I find it?  What do I look for
to see if it is correctly confiured or not? This is may be a bug it
may not.

What does this have to do with the Horde.org servers?

You need to set the preferred language in your prefs, that will
override the login screen. If that's not working then your prefs
backend isn't configured correctly.

No matter what the user sets prefred language to it comes up with english US.

I want to set the language to english Canadian so one dose not have to
reselect the language unless another is desired. Why dose the user
preferance not respected?
