Sounds good and should be done in Turba IMO, where we already
configure the source to use for clients.

Name in  the drop-down if that field is populated or the Name field
if Company Name is empty?
That might be a viable solution, if the api doesn't return an error
if you request a field that doesn't exist. We would have to check
that.
How about making configurable either in Hermes or in the 'clients'
section of Turba's config, which field should be displayed for
clients? That way we could maintain the default of relying on just
'name', but people could set it to 'company' or whatever else makes
sense to them. Could even allow composite configuration to get name +
company.

Actually my request is more of an attempt to avoid having the same
contact in two address books: one in Clients for Hermes timetracking
and another in Turba for correspondence ... I'm trying to turn Horde
into my CRM system and it's a little rough in some spots. Thanks for
the assistance.

If that's the case, I don't understand the purpose of having a Name
and Company Name field - why not adjust Hermes to put the Company
Because the address book fields have nothing to do with Hermes. Hermes
just uses the address book api provided by Turba through Horde. How
you set up your address books is completely up to you. The only field
that exists for certain is "name".

Paul
You are supposed to put the company name into the name field of the
address book you use for the clients listing. At least that's how I
understand it.

Show the Company Name in addition to the Contact Last, First Name in
the Client Drop-Down on the 'Enter Time' screen.
