Fwiw, the Text_Wiki part of this really should be filed _against_ 
Text_Wiki at pear.php.net. We'll keep this ticket around for the 
Wicked work.

This would allow an alternate rendering mechanism for Wiki text.  As 
was noted, Text_Wiki supports Latex as a renderer, which could be used 
to generate PDF, but native PDF would be nice.  It looks like this was 
intended at one point, since in the PEAR Text_Wiki documentation for 
the Text_Wiki class is a single remnant under $formatConf for config 
items relating to a PDF rendering class (page layout items).
