The configuration should be merged into one setting, i.e. by adding 
"none" to the the
three-perms-switch.
Done. If you think it should be rephrased, feel free to do so. English 
is not my native language, so it probably has quirks.
And maybe the user should be notified that a new calendar with 
permissions for other
users has been created.
Done. That was easy, nice framework !

The patch looks good, but I have two suggestions for improvements. The 
configuration should be merged into one setting, i.e. by adding "none"

As discussed on the kronolith mailing list, here's a patch to 
auto-share the new user's default calendar to his group(s).

The feature is configurable: you can turn it on and off, and you can 
choose the rights granted to your group(s).
