You can send mails by imp but not via ActiveSync device.
Finally it turnt out to be able to send mails per ActiveSync device
you have to set the from address in the identity setting of imp.
And the other crazy fact is, the ActiveSync message contains a filled
from field.
So I suggest if the profile from address is not set to use the from
address coming from the device before issuing a error message that no
form address is provided.
