Hi. At the time of report you hadnt even a h3 vacation, yes some of the functions/features have been solved in the h3 vacation, but still, no proper support for qmail with vpopmail backend. I can update the feature-list to resent h3 vacation, ok?

At a 2nd look this patch is completely useless. It's reverse, looks like being created manually so it won't apply properly, changes tons of core code though it is intended to provide a new driver only, etc.

Ok, looked at ticket 1100 as reference. Some features (set maildir name, delete vacation mess on server when dissable vacation and new "From: " form), has only examples in config.xml, no actual patch/code. If you like some help with testing and/or have any questions, just ask.

Had to do some test first, here we go:

I have included some explanations and examples in diff attachment.

Featured I would like to see:

*new driver qmail-vpopmail (other than regular qmail.php)
*support for define of qmail maildirname to use
*support in vacation form for "From:" form to be included in post (like new subject form)
*support for see already activated vacation message (allready in diff code)
*support for enable/dissable an delete of vacationmessage on server when user dissable vacation.

Regards, Fredde

If you're not able to provide a patch against HEAD, please attach the modified code you referenced (only the relevant bits, obviously) to this ticket.

I would like support for  vpopmail virtual domain/user driver. As vpopmail users are virtual, you have to use the vpopmail user (system user) to ftp the vacationfiles, not the virtual-mail-user. Modified vacation 2.2 code is available for reference.
