Cancelling the event should send a Cancellation iTip, so this is really a bug, not an enhancement.

Change event status to "Cancelled" send only a normal mail to update the event in my calendar. A lot of my users forget this and doesn't realize the event is cancelled. Is it possible to make this clear in the notification mail?
