I noticed one more thing related to this - try to expand/collapse any remote account or 'Remote Accounts' folder and notice, that folder icon is set to one with plus (+) sign even when it is expanded. This has nothing to do with remote accounts - it is a different issue that i'm working on elsewhere.

I applied your patch (on 6.2.0aplha1) and this problem disappears BUT there is a new one: 1.) Login to IMP. 2.) Collapse 'Remote accounts' (as it's expanded automatically after login). 3.) Try to expand it again. In my installation, 'Remote accounts' cannot be expanded after they were collapsed - it looks like there are no remote accounts (it has 'expand' icon but nothing happens except the icon change to 'collapse'). The same now applies also to any remote account - login into it, expand it, collapse it and try to expand it again.

Also try to fast open/close remote account several times - you won't be able to click again on folder icon after several tries and 'Loading...' will be displayed (you can fix this by rebuilding folder list or relogging). This has nothing to do with remote accounts and is instead a factor of the effects queuing code for mailbox expansion. This should now be fixed.

When i click on authenticated remote account for the first time in current session, IMP starts to load folders and displays text 'Loading...' instead of account name. Problem is that this text never disappears and i need to click on folder icon next to it to open folders (also that 'Loading' messages disapperas only then). Also try to fast open/close remote account several times - you won't be able to click again on folder icon after several tries and 'Loading...' will be displayed (you can fix this by rebuilding folder list or relogging).
