Closing.  As mentioned, we need some kind of error message.  You can't 
open a window and immediately close it without giving the use some 
sort of input.  And there is no way to know this is going to error out 
before hand.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for?  We obviously need to 
send *some* kind of error message.

Hi!

I know there were already some discussions about the mime type detection.

My point here just is: Could we catch the fatal exception and do not 
open a window with something like the attached file?

It is just because we got unsettled user questions about this error message.
