information, and of course Kronolith must respond with a 404 if
writing to a non-existant calendar.
As it seems, the problem is caused by an (in my opinion) incorrectly
displayed link in kronolith itself.
Manually changing the address in lightning (removing the calendar: )
solves the problem.

made by Mozilla Lightning using caldav:
Attendees are removed, time-zone information is repeated several times (why?)
Additionally an error 404 is returned, as it tries to access/deliver
an .ics which does not exist.
Lightning in combination with ownCloud does not show such strange behaviour.
