What about any javascript errors on the console? You should also use a tool such as Firebug to observe the Ajax communication.

Cannot reproduce. Please follow the hints at http://wiki.horde.org/FAQ/Admin/Troubleshoot#wsod to generate and find a useful error message. edited my php.ini: error_reporting = E_ALL log_errors = On track_errors = On error_log = "/var/log/httpd/php_log" got nothing!??

When trying to create a new calendar the screen is darkened and after a while there's a message "Error when communicating with the server". Screen stays darkened and the only way out is using back key or closing the browser. The same thing happens when trying to edit the settings of an existing calendar. In basic-mode everything's OK.
