longer uses the IMAP UID & Mailbox. It is possible this fixed things,
but will hold over to 6.1 anyway since nobody else seems to be
complaining about this.

when I switched to a different mailbox and opened an unread mail that
was already in the cache thank to pre-fetching. When the background
request finished, the message that I was still reading got
de-selected, then marked as seen.
Another factor might be a message arriving into the folder that I was
reading while the spam reporting ran.
