traditional view. Clicking on the items in dynamic view can cause
unexpected results (e.g. clicking on Search or Folder List when
changing IMP's prefs).
I personally think the sidebar should not be shown at all in the
preferences view. The topbar links are sufficient for a user to
navigate back to the proper app after finishing editing the prefs.
