Still fine with 21. And I would have been surprised if it degraded 
in newer versions anyway.
I too was surprised when it seemed that Chrome 21 would break Imp.

This situation seemed to fix itself after clearing all browser and 
server caches and restarting apache process.

This ticket can now be closed.

Cannot reproduce. Chrome 18.
Try latest Chrome 21, which I believe is the latest released stable version:

It seems the lates css or code changes have broken the rendering when 
trying to use Chrome.

Some problem:
- Icons and text are mixed in the buttons and are shown on top of each other
- Other and Filter buttons do not have icons at all
- Reply and Forward buttons are shown in mailbox view even if no 
message is active
