As of PHP 5.3.0, php can be compiled with --enable-intl, then the functions of the IDN PECL extension are available from the built-in intl-module. When the functions are available from the intl-module, the test.php script shall not report a problem that IDN is missing (since it makes no sense to have additionally IDN PECL).
