In this case the whole mail is appended and not just the attachment (the picture in my example). The text part is included twice. This is not how you want to have it. Yes it is. Forwarding attachments only was removed long ago. You can look at the list archives for the reasoning (e.g. it is impossible to determine what is considered an "attachment" in the original message).

The use forward as message AND attachment.

You are right, this works indead. But what I want to do is to forward THE attachment of a mail. So let's say i got a picture and a description from a friend and want to forward this picture to another friend. I click "Forward->In Message" and get the editor with the original message as editable "forwarded from" text and the picture as attached file. This was the behaviour under Horde 3. Under Horde 4 (imp 5.0.10) the picture is not attached, only the text-part.

I don't see this. Forwarding a message as an attachment correctly attaches the entire original message as the attachment to the outgoing message.

attachment is missing if you forward a mail with attachment...
