It's not a bug, and if you can't restart the web server, you're in the wrong bug tracker anyway. Because I'm the admin I can and did restart the web server. But - as expected - this did not fix the problem persistently. The bug comes back after switching the language again. But I agree that it is not a bug in imp, instead it probably belongs in horde because it can be found in other places too.

Exactly, this is a side-effect of how gettext strings are cached in the server process. Restart your web server. To me this answer sounds to be a joke. How can i as a normal user restart a web server? The user can only restart his Browser or his own computer but never the web server used by hundreds or thousand other users! This is in fact a bug in the code of horde/imp/mailbox.php and other places e.g. horde/services/prefs.php. With firefox -> view source you can see that at several places the switch from one language to a different is not done.

Switching the locale from German to e.g. English (American) does not work in all places. In IMP mailbox display screen several labels and options of the mark, filter, copy and move actions still are in german instead of in english now. Same problem exists in the message display screen. Must be a cache problem, we have the same problem after upgrade to horde 4 and imp 5 in the first few days.
