But why it appears correctly in the message preview? Luck. The right mix of charset(s) was used based purely on luck, not something we can reliably reproduce or workaround.

The subject header is invalid. Try setting a default message charset in your prefs, if you didn't already. Did you mean "The default charset for messages with no charset information:"? Is set to "Western (ISO-8859-1)". But why it appears correctly in the message preview?
