I apologize. I must have messed up when doing my search. Disabling the extension is not an option since it's a server-wide change, but I'll play with some of the switches.

Duplicate: 9842 ...and see also the thread that starts with: http://lists.horde.org/archives/imp/Week-of-Mon-20110523/052263.html ...and disable the suhosin extension. It breaks things badly.
