For what it's worth attaching IMAP logs. One captured when deleting a message from the message list, and another deleting a message from message view and going back to the same folder.

I've just updated to IMP 5.0.4 and deleted messages are still shown in the list when deleting from message view. I don't see this. If I click on delete message in the message view, and "Return to mailbox" pref is false, I return to the same message (which has been marked as deleted). This is expected. If I then go to the mailbox view, the message does not appear. If "Return to mailbox pref is true", when deleting a message I am immediately returned to the mailbox and the message does not appear.

After fixing ~~bug #9833~~ this is almost fixed too. Purged messages are still shown in the list when deleting from message view though. Steps to reproduce: 1) Open any message in the mailbox (mailbox should be configured to hide deleted messages). 2) Delete opened message, IMP jumps back to current mailbox. 3) You can see deleted message in the list. 4) Click Show Deleted and then Hide Deleted, message is successfully hidden. Deleting from mailbox view works fine.

For me the issue is a little bit different after latest updates to 5.0.3. When I delete an email, it is shown in the list as deleted even if Hide Deleted setting is configured for the mailbox. It persist to be shown until I logout and then login again. If I click Show Deleted old message is still there but this time Hide Deleted successfully hides it. Purge works fine. Don't see this either.

If you have multiple mails in imp marked as "deleted" (imap) and you hit "Purge" (don't know if that is the correct translation here ... in german it is called "Endgültig löschen") then it deletes 1 mail - states "xxx mails deleted" (xxx is the correct number) and the button does nothing if you hit it again Vilius has confirmed that issue (see below)- how can I give you more information - should I provide you a test user on my system? ---------------------------------------- I saw similar behaviour but hadn't had time to create a ticket yet.
