phrased a similar request a different way and I missed it.

book when importing my contacts. The first thing I did after the
import was to look for a total number of contact imported/in the
address book - to compare it with the external address book I was
importing from - and I couldn't find this information anywhere. All
address books I used (including on mobile phones) seem to display this
information somewhere - so I was surprised that Turba doesn't seem to
display this anywhere. Maybe on the top status bar, on the right hand
side would be a good spot? The same would apply to searches - if they
list the number of contacts found it would be really useful.
I did end up quering the SQL back end directly - but this would be
useless to a non-administrator.
