Fixed - added app-unknown.png and we use it if the app doesn't have an icon.

Changes have been made in Git for this ticket:

Show an unknown app icon rather than a broken image if an application 
doesn't have an icon (Bug #9867).

Do you mean that it should NOT be visible in Admin -> Configuration page?

Oh, I misread. This is in the admin pane, not in the sidebar tree. 
Yes, I can reproduce. We should have a generic app icon for these cases.

Yes, I have registry.php and registry.local.php and both have status 
=> hidden. registry.d/ is empty.

Are you sure your content application is marked hidden in the 
registry? I had an old registry.d/content.php file that didn't mark 
content as hidden, so it was overriding the default. Once I removed 
that, things are fine.

Then Horde should not generate <img> tag for it. Now it looks like 
something is not right (under IE).

Content is meant to be a hidden application, and doesn't have/need any icons.
