Started with no vbooks, and the addressbooks prefs containing my
default book and one other shared book. In addition, there were a few
address books that were not selected for display. I created a new
vbook, and it automatically was added to the address books prefs,
along with the existing books.
Tried adding/removing various books, all worked as expected.
Any other info you can provide?
