This might be a bug instead with prototypejs (Element#purge() behavior) but I'm not going to bother spending more time tracking this down w/IE 7.

Hi Michael. I can confirm that on IE7 i have this problem.. Reading again your last comment, i don't know if we are talking about the same "Subject" text.. Im talking about the one that is in the message list headers, between the "From" and "Date" headers. The header that has "Subject [Thread]"

Yes im. I don't have access to the Horde installation right now, but tomorrow i will try again to see what i may have missed

I don't see this in IE 7 either. I assume you are talking about the Subject text in the dimp preview pane, btw.

I don't see with IE 9 or IE 8.

On IE, if you click on the "Subject" text on the message header, or drag the bar that splits the vertical layout, the text "Subject" disappears from the message list headers
