DataTree has been deprecated in Horde 4. The only reason the package is still packaged/available is to support upgrading current installations that are using DataTree.

like all the other packages Horde_Perms, Horde_Cache, ... there is no Schema upgrade / installation for datatree tables. so when configuring the datatree backend in configuration and then opening the datatree menu point it says table not found.
