Marking as resolved.  To the extent this happens in DIMP 1.x, it can
be fixed by reconfiguring server configuration options.

Because it's only supposed to take your special folders. Your folder
list is in a completely wrong place of the interface.
What did you mean with the wrong place of the interface? The
screenshot shows all open subfolders of INBOX (Posteingang).
Your mailboxes shouldn't live under INBOX in dimp - INBOX is instead
most likely the namespace for these mailboxes.  All other mailboxes
except INBOX (and the special folders) should appear at the bottom of
the left sidebar.

It looks like there is something screwy with your namespace
configuration.  You wouldn't happen to have a 'namespace' entry
defined in imp/config/servers.php?

Regardless, this can't happen in IMP 5.x since the code there
automatically puts any subfolders into the lower area if it detects
that a subfolder is trying to be added in the top area.

Ah wait, what the heck is up with your folder list? :)
You've got all your regular folders up in the special folders area.
You should only have the inbox, sent-mail folders, trash etc. there.
Stop, it's not really a bug, it's only a design error!

In IMP the folder list gets a scrollbar, thats true and work fine.
In DIMP the complete frame gets a scrollbar and I can scroll down to
the last folder as well.

What I mean, only the background of the left folder list in DIMP is
not long enough.

I don't see this with *exactly* the same setup. The folder list gets a
scrollbar as expected.

Which browser is this, and do you use a custom theme?
Firefox 3.5.8 on Ubuntu and the "Silver Surfer" theme.

I don't understand what the issue is - a screenshot would be helpful.
This is a good idea.
I don't see any problems with too many folders - it correctly
causes the folder list area to scroll.

(background color).
